COPE Studio is a design consultancy based in Cologne and Hamburg, working in the fields of art, culture and business. With an international design practice, cope has set itself the task of giving shape to contemporary visual culture. The studio was founded in 2016 by Cyrill Kuhlmann and operates in a collaborative practice that works in ongoing partnerships with artists, curators, architects, designers, editors, institutions and companies. COPE specializes in developing powerful visual presences, both in the analogue and digital world. COPE achieves this through image design (CGI), photography and moving images - all in the
interplay with typography.
Cyrill Kuhlmann (COPE Studio) is an art director and graphic designer who has lent visual identity to various media brands in recent years - including German print publications such as "NEON", "BOA by
Jérôme Boateng" and Deutsche Bahn's "
db mobil". He has also worked with various cultural institutions, including museums such as
Marta Herford or the
Museum Kurhaus Kleve.
